"We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future."
~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

The Jim Fike Memorial was established to honor the life, memory, and spirit of a man who continually shared himself with his family, friends, and the youth he came in contact with.

Those who knew Jim knew that he was always extending a hand, in one way or another, to kids. He had a way of encouraging them and he wanted nothing more than to help open the door to the future for kids wanting to pursue higher education as well as opportunities in rodeo.

For the past five years, our organization has awarded financial scholarships, in honor of Jim, to enrolled Central Wyoming College students on the CWC Rodeo team, to be used to offset expenses to attend classes and participate on the rodeo team. The JFM is now able to extend the financial scholarships to qualified Fremont County high school seniors as well. We will also continue our support for the CWC rodeo team by making an annual contribution to the Central Wyoming College Foundation.
